1. Horticulture Programme:
Conducted Horticulture programme to agriculture farmers that were investing on seasonal crops such as cotton and chilies only in season and remaining vacant for their barren land in summer seasons. Suggested them to raise horticulture crops such as jasmine, rose and lily that requires less water resources and gives better crop productivity. They were advised to raise kitchen garden at their homes that give income with in short period of time rather than investing and being vacant in summer season.
Output: nearly 1200 farmers were covered for the 2 programs that were conducted at Mandal towns and responded that would raise horticulture initially within an acre for testing and would go for horticulture cultivation.
